Seller's presentation : Moncho Artdantan

Self-taught painter, I have chosen to love the beautiful and difficult challenges.
All started with an unconditional love for Flemish painting in particular Bruegel. My early paintings were inspired by that artist, but over time I have expanded my range. My favorite themes are landscapes, still lifes, and genre scenes. I work each canvas with precision from a preliminary design that I create and allows me to base my composition on solid foundations.
Then I run the oil paint glazes in the manner of the ancients. Far from the perfections of hyperrréalisme cold I take great pleasure to lead my landscapes with many characters.
Will especially like the medieval period and in general anything that evokes the glories of the past. I wish to convey to the viewer an atmosphere, a fragrance, the colors of the Art of Yesteryear.
