Seller's presentation : Hervé Joly

In the early 80s, I began to realize my drawings from assembly points in ink and colored pencil on paper Ingres. The graphic is in its infancy, it was not uncommon to equate my first portraits with the computer. I have long worked under the microscope and I make myself the support pasting paper onto cardboard. The idea of small dots «square» came to me watching the stamps. The interpreter of Indian film music, Lata Mangeshkar, was my first realization on sheet rodoïde. As at the time, I had to develop my technique on the canvas board or canvas. I had to take the next step and combining acrylic painting with Chinese ink. Today, I look for emotions over the details with paint only, the Amerigo Vespucci was the first example in the way of expressing myself.
