In memory of my aunts and my grandmother that I never really understood but that was like my aunts daily to the fountain to fetch water for the family several times a day. They intrigued me as they traveled on a hilly route, about 2 miles to get to the fountain with a jar on his head was through their hair tied in a bun. Despite the jar full, they marched hands on hips and stop to discuss indifferent to the weight supported by their heads. On my sculpture is the face of their youth ..
