Peacock In The Woods No 6, Dear No1, wool and thread art, David Erfani

This particular piece was inspired by Iranian art I grew up around at home and the pin and thread art I would see at my English grandmother’s house.

The board is mdf veneered. The paint is a combination of spray paint and acrylic paint. The picture its self is made out of wool using outlined with nails. The wool is layered to create depth

My art work is influenced by the relationship between nature and humans. I like to visually demonstrate Time and gravity in my work as natural progressions in life relating to situations and points in my life.
