Original drypoint Etching, in colours, 1970/2, on Japan Nacre paper, signed by the artist in pencil
Note: This was part of a suite entitled “Hommage a Albrecht Durer”. Alternative names were “Suite mythologique nouvelle” and “The Venus series”. The suite consisted of a total of 14 different engravings all of which depicted Venus in one guise or other. This subject was one which has been depicted by artists since Roman times in many different forms and guises.
