Note: According to f & s this was part of a suite entitled “Les Vitreux du musee de Salvador Dali a Figueras” (The stained glass windows of the Salvador Dali Museum at Figueras). These windows were originally made for the Teatro-Museo in Figueras. The suite consisted of 24 panels entitled “Themes of Surrealism” and Dali made a design for each panel. Jacques Carpentier wrote in 1989 that Dali delivered 24 goaches to him in 1974 and he published his prints in 1974/6. It is not known where the originals are today. According to Field, however, this was part of a suite entitled “Le Jungle Humain” which consisted of 6 lithographs made from individual ink drawings. Certainly both are agreed that this is an Original Dali lithograph

Published by: Ethis (a company owned by Carpentier in Geneva). The Perrot Moore collection catalogue lists the publisher as “eldec S. P. A Roma” which was also a Carpentier Corporation.
