Dehua Pair Of Lion Sculpture
Ming Dynasty 1368-1644
High?34cm
Width: 16.5cm
Weight?2.6kg+2.7kg

Beautiful pair of Dehua lion sculpures. Beginning in the mid-thirteenth century, the kilns of Dehua, capital of the Fujian Province in southeast China, began producing brilliant white porcelain pieces, the likes of which had never been seen before. Today, blanc de Chine pieces are some of the most sought-after collectibles in the world of Chinese art, their aesthetic appeal lying in their stark shapes and color, and their impossibly delicate, glasslike glaze. Please note photo colour might deviate slightly in comparison to the original artefact.

Perfect conditions, no cracks, chips, hairlines or restoration. Please don't hesitate to contact us for further images and informations.
