Kachin'mana, Hopi. Maiden Kachina

Katchin'mana is a generic term for all ladies who accompany a Kachina Kachina at a ceremony. They take the name of the character they attend which is attached the Hopi word 'Mana' meaning woman or girl.
They carry the baskets full of ears of corn or beans but also occur during the line dances, kneeling before their Kachina.
