This a «Jian» kiln bowl which was made in Song Dynasty. The glaze appear a glow of silvery luminous colors like the moon on water at night. Metallic iron from reduction in the kiln.

Jian black wares were made in Jian kilns situated in shuiji Jianyang in Fujian province. Its major products were black glazed tea bowls with purplish black paste. The most famous type had hare's furs effect on it. The hare's furs are streaks which are either brownish or silvery white in colour. Some highly priced type have bluish iridescent oil-spots of different sizes and shapes in the glaze.
