Very Nice Pair of Victorian Gouaches

British painter who exhibited in 1839 to 1888 a large number of 'works at the Royal Academy, the British Institution and Suffolk Street in London. His work is typical of the Victorian era with a very pronounced taste for the genre.

The first work is "The Lacemaker" from the table of Gaspar Netscher (1639-1684) in the National Gallery in London. Sign

lower left "after G. Netscher. "

Signed and dated lower right "j. Bouvier 1896. "

The second is "A Lady Feeding a Parrot" from the table of Frans van Mieris (1635-1681) in the National Gallery in London. Sign

lower left "after Mieris."

In their beautiful golden wood frames and mountings of origin.

Label the back of the coach Luttringer Ch, 35 rue de la Lune in Paris.

Condition perfect.

Dimensions with management: 35. 5 X 31 cm
