A walk along Lake Lucerne in Switzerland, I saw a big branch floating in the recovering, I was struck by its shape. It is a soft wood, probably fir ... drying was very long ... and finally I was able to sculpt the face and christ ... Then I had to go several layers of lacquer to harden the wood, because it was friable ... And finally I waxed ... I am fascinated by ancient Picts that represent pain.
