Hittorff Madame (1804-1870) is the daughter of architect Jean-Baptiste Lepère (1761-1844) and wife of Jacques Ignace Hittorff (1792-1867) the architect of the Church of St. Vincent de Paul, the Cirque d'Hiver, the layout of the place La Concorde, hotels ... He won the Grand Prix de Rome in 1844, with its Cincinnatus receiving the ambassadors of the Senate (School of Fine Arts) executed in the neoclassical tradition. He won several medals, including the third-class medal in 1847 for Sappho, the first-class medal in 1851 for the Exile of Tiberius, another medal in 1855 for the Jubilee of 1300 and a gold medal at the Exposition of 1889.
He was a Knight of the Legion of Honor and the Order of Leopold of Belgium.
He received important commissions official:
-Sets for churches Saint-Eustache (1856) and Trinity (1867 and 1876).
-The Museum of Amiens where he performed a dome and a pendant in 1865. The great
-cap Prince Nariskin in St. Petersburg in 1866.
-The ceiling pendants and four in the foyer of the Opera de Paris in 1874. The set-
flag of Argentina at the Universal Exhibition of 1889.

His works are preserved in many museums: Autun, Chalons-sur-Marne, Cologne, Douai, Laval, Lille, Nantes , Nimes, Paris Louvre Museum, Périgueux, Le Puy-en-Velay, Rouen, Tarbes, Versailles ...
