French Cigar box in rosewood veneer and miniature porcelain

A French Napoleon III cigar box in rosewood veneer with geometric figures playing with different shades of wood. The rectangular shaped casket is based on four scroll feet, with an interior in mahogany with three levels of cigars. It is decorated on top with a miniature on porcelain decorated with flowers finely painted (signed «nap f» unidentified). Gilt bronze ornamentation.
