The legend of Peña de los Enamorados:

In the XIVth century, Tazgona, daughter of the leader of the Moorish village of Archidona, fell in love with Tello, young Spanish of Antequera.
Tazgona being a Moslem and Tello being christian, their love was impossible. Their relation was regrettably discovered by the father of the girl who ordered the detention of Tello and its killing.
Tazgona saved her love and they ran away to a cave of the mountain where they remained hidden during two days before being discovered.
They decided then to die together and rushed of the summit of the mountain, having praying the strengths of the earth and the sky to leave them together after death. The nature granted their wish: Tello was changed into stone, the face turned to the sky and Tazgona was changed into wind to be able to caress the face of her lover. Sometimes during the evenings of full moon we can hear both lovers around the mountain.

Here are the explanations about my artistic performance concerning the legend of the » rock of the lovers ».
As usual, the used aboriginal technique gives a representation of things seen by the sky.

In the center, the famous rock with its hilly landscape made of shadow areas (hatchings) and zones of light (yellow points) which gives it this shape of human face even seen from the top, face seeming to shout with the mouth below, the nose in the middle and the forehead (the hatched zones). I calculated nothing, it is a matter of chance but it goes well with the tragic story.
Below is the city of Antequera (black and white concentric circles) where from leaves a dense crowd (the u forms, aboriginal human symbol) setting off in pursuit of the young couple on the road, road that gets smaller as one goes along, symbol of the hope of a happy life decreasing day by day until the fatal decision. The lovers follow the road, climb the mountain and take refuge in a cave before rushing together in the empty space (trajectory symbolized by the fine line of white points) and to crash on the ground, interwined (forms surrounded with red color for blood and imbricated one in the other one).
The upper left full moon, its light irradiating the scene (yellow circles widening in the space), unites to their legend by this big white link that wraps the young man and the young girl (shape with motives on arms)
