John is the result of a meeting at the Museum of Fine Arts in Dijon, a sculpture attributed to Martin Hoffmann «John slept» (16 century). I stayed a long time to look, to feel, to dream. Her curls, her eyes round the eyelids weighed down, his hands, his long fingers in the foreground gives me the opportunity to translate, to transpose and pose all the emotion accumulated since the discovery of this work.

D'autant plus que ma formation dans la peinture m'a été par la copie de grands Maîtres et chaque fois, je méditais devant ses oeuvres et me rapprochais
De ces peintres en essayant le parfait. J'aime copier, est-ce un défaut ?
Les grands peintres se sont copiés mutuellement pour leur formation. Mais
L'éssentiel est bien ce que l'on ressent, la traduction et surtout l'émotion.
