Antique glazed earthenware

This piece of 2004 came to my mind after a trip to Egypt. I imagine money discovered in the sea near Alexandria during underwater excavations.
It is made of clay after firing pui glazed with a glaze alligator-grained bronze-colored green.
This work is fixed on a base of polished wood to bring out the clear glazing
