Warna jukurrpa (dream snake). Lorraine Napurrurla Nelson Galerie Gondwana
The place depicted on the canvas, Ngama, is located south of Yuendumu in the Northern Territory. This dream is for women Nakamarra / Napurrurla and men Jakamarra / Jupurrurla.
The story describes the journey of Yarripiri an ancestor Warna (snake). He traveled to Wirnparrku close to Mount Liebig in Yimparlu, and continued its way through the territories Ngapanangka-jarra, Warlajirryi, Kurnmundu, Yinyirrinyi. Later, Yarripiri went further north to Mijirlparnta (Mission Creek) and through the northern part of Australia. Yarripiri was very sad that his family have abandoned Wirnparrku. He was blind and in poor shape, but determined to follow them and find them. To do this he needed to be focused and it was the work of Kurdungurlu (the «policeman» of ceremonies).

Where Yarripiri tail touched the ground, rivers were formed, such Mijirlparnta in the west of Yuendumu. The tracks by Yarripiri are often represented by curved lines.
