Second section of the dyptic, still seen through a window-pane. The Thames, blue, is here the main element. Wide on the foreground, non far from its estuary, it is getting narrower in its meanders to the backgrounds towards the town. Lined on each side by port buildings in ochre tones. A boat crosses, without rippling the quiet surface of the river.
