Late 18th century French ormolu portico mantle clock. Two columns in the shape of caryatids supports a white enamel dial in a pierced bronze circle, decorated with an eagle at the top and winged horses with human heads at the bottom. Pendulum with a sun. Oval base resting on four feet, with wear to the gilding. Consulate Period. Original mechanism with a thread revised and in operating condition.
