The exterior of this ink color cylindrical brushholder is decorated with a text lan Ting prologue. At the bottom there are words «Kang XI Nian Zhi». According to the usual practice kangxi period no red seal in porcelain ? So as to prove this brushpot is not original from Kangxi… But the calligraphy is very good, should be in late Qing Dynasty copy.
Only a few tiny chipped in the base and a some minor wear in the glaze, as is shown in our photos. Further in excellent condition.
