Korean blanket chest

This chest is a proto type of pieces from Gaesong area situated in the Southern part of North Korea, made from thick elm wood panel and decorated with yellow brass metal work. Typical square plaques as well as numerous patterns such as clouds and the fish in the centre of the bottom part.
