Penguin - Pastel and compressed charcoal

It is reminiscent of a penguin. It could be a puffin is one wanted to be very precise. The idea is to show a bird-like shape and follow the light as it strikes. I have been doing birds like this for years, the idea being that in another world or place, this might be the way this bird might look
