Blue Enamel Ivy Gold Locket France 1920s

Blue enamel and 18k yellow gold pendant locket decorated with ivy. French work in the 1920s. Eagle's head hallmark that was in use in France from about 1838. Beautiful condition. Diameter 1.06 inch and weight 6.60 grams.

Ivy and symbolism: The vitality of the plant represents stealthy joy of living. The romantic facet of ivy is based upon its tendrils which attach to a wall affectionately.
