A Louis XIV Style ormolu six-light chandelier. The foliate-cast baluster shaft with central ball cast with trellis enclosing flowerheads over foliate S-form candelarms with hexagonal drip-pans and nozzles, above a foliate finial. Electrified. An 18th century chandelier of this model is illustrated in Louis xiv: Faste et Decors. , Paris, 1960, cat. 194.
