Steel table, floor or garden sculpture that represents the element of Earth.

A Basilisk is a mythological creature that turned living things to stone with it's petrifying gaze.

The sculpture represents a cross section of liquid earth that is now frozen. Petrified and static, but with it’s once fluidity is evident in it’s form.

All my sculptures are hand made, each'Basilisk'sculpture has been made to be unique. They differ in size, shape and sometimes in the finish of the steel.

This version is larger than it's brothers, and extremely dramatic. It would look amazing on display in home or garden.
It has been brushed, oiled and lacquered, which highlights the shape and movement of the sculpture.
