John Boy 381

This is a portrait of my dear friend John Boy aka John Holt, who sadly passed away last week… He held a very special place in my heart and always will thanks to this portrait and healing can now begin… Without him I would not have carried on painting years back when things got very though for me, and he was there to put food on my table when I had nothing… He purchased my first 3 paintings and without his encouragement I would simply have stopped painting… He always told everyone he had a friend called Pixie and she is an artist! ! ! He gave me this nickname and made sure it would stick with me forever. So I thank you John for everything you have ever done for me and you will always be remembered for the good things you gave us all… Rest in peace John Boy 381! ! X
