«Awaiting the tour de France» «En attendant le tour de France»

In a small town in Normandy all business stops. In the distance is heard a commotion. Soon a whirlwind of spinning wheels, a flash of colour and chrome and “Le tour” “Le Grand Boucle” will fly through the town bringing the excitement of that great bicycle race to the local people for no more than a few seconds… And then, just as quickly it will be gone for another year… And all will be quiet.

Dans une petite ville en Normandie, toutes les entreprises s’arrêtent. A la distance est entendue une commotion. Bientôt un tourbillon de rouets, un éclair de couleur et de chrome et « Le tour », « Le Grand Boucle » volera à travers la ville, ce qui porte l'excitation de cette grande course cycliste à la population locale pour pas plus de quelques secondes… Et puis, tout aussi rapidement il sera absent pour une autre année… Et tout sera calme.
