Balik pazari. Le marché aux poissons.

La scène se passe dans un petit marché aux poisson d'un quartier central à Istanbul, à la tombée du jour, en été. Les ampoules électriques sont déjà allumées, les grands plateaux rouges sont vides de poissons. La partie gauche du tableau est encore dans le jour tandis que celle de gauche est entrée dans la nuit. C'est une heure dont j'aime particulièrement les lumières.
