Rishikesh, the world capital of yoga became famous worldwide when the Beatles stay in an ashram in 1968. Pilgrimage always popular with Indians, this holy city is now a spot of adventure tourism in India.
At Rishikesh, a small shop offers on two outdoor activities nearby. Remains the most popular rafting on the Ganges. The number of boats has doubled in a year. Today, 300 are registered rafts down the 18 km journey. A perfect activity to mix thrills, blessing of the sacred waters and sport in a beautiful setting.
