Note: Andre Sauret of the Imprimerie Nationale published important collections of novels in bibliophile editions. He was also the publisher of Fernand Mourlot’s catalogue “Picasso Lithographs”, the 3rd volume of which as the frontispiece of “Pere Goriot, which was published as part of the series “Grands prix des meilleurs romans du XIX siecle”. Collette’s “La Vagabonde ”, was published as part of the “Grand Prix des meilleurs romans etrangers” collection. The frontispiece had our lithograph which was a portrait of Collette.
