Original Pencil on paper, circa 1956, Hand Signed and titled by the artist. Verso is a written note signed by the artist with initials. Unfortunately this is difficult to read.

Note: This is a humorous drawing made by Cocteau when he received his Doctorate at Oxford University on the 12th June 1956. (Literature) He is dressed in a robe of “Dr Honoris”. He was in Oxford to make his dissertation on the 14th June. The event inspired several amusing drawings.
Authenticity: This is accompanied by a document signed by Annie Guedras the Cocteau expert, Perigueux, France, which states that the work is authentic.
