Viewed optical 18th century, it is nature orientalist. A «view of the fountain of lovers and the adjoining mosque (Egypt).

Is a watercolor print in bright colors, in beautiful condition, (to be indicated, some parings and the creases in margins and a small tear). Prior to the campaign of Egypt by Napoleon 1, it depicts the Ottoman Egypt before the French conquest of 1798 to satisfy the taste of a public eager for Orientalism.

This is probably a vision and a little imagination built around the romantic stories of travelers in the East in the eighteenth century.

This view strongly animated characters has the 1st level, a pair of beautiful Arabian horses near the fountain of lovers on the bottom of oriental architecture.
