Element of a sequence of different characters. Their membership of the Court is revealed by the brightness of their costume. Plump figure, kneeling, bent-over and slightly lame left, face up, represented in the attitude of prayer to a deity or homage to a sovereign. Clasped hands holding a folded package, offering or petition. Wearing a sarong down to mid-calf and a dark green shirt visible under your jacket on your long sleeves and broad-lined red embroidered lace. Hairdressing round cap of the same color as the trim, raised high on the front and surrounded by a large green bead. A pair of earrings with large cabochon adorns the very elongated earlobes (one of the perfections usually but not exclusively attributed to the Buddha. Look closely and collected. Copy the outstanding balance of proportions, the strength of the modeling and the skill of the artist to capture the most fleeting detail; quality major Burmese art attracted by movement and life. Polychrome limestone.
