Tool to test the resistance of the son of silk, the silk used in the nineteenth century.

This one is walnut, has a beautiful finish, and dates from the years 1830-1870. It carries mark, the mark of the manufacturer or cabinetmaker who realized, L. Roeck Lyon.

The frame is solid walnut, glass on 3 sides (glass cracked). This machine is very solid in good repair, preservation and operation.
