An ormolu chimney bar

A Restoration period French chimney bar, in gilt bronze very finely chiseled. It's adorned on the sides, both dominated by a ram mask ending with an abundance horn filled with fruits, with vegetal stylized «rosaces» and on the central part with a vegetal garland tightened between two flower baskets. The central horizontal bar is covered with a black patina.
