Pair of «pot-pourris» vases in porcelain

An important pair of French rectangular pot-pourri vases and covers decorated with a green ground and painted in colored reserves on the fronts with the “Madonna della seggiolla” after Raphael (1483 – 1520) and “La vierge à la grappe” after Pierre Mignard (1612-1695) and in white reserves on the other sides with flowers garlands. The green ground, overlaid with gilded cartouches of trellis-work, scrolls, flowers and foliage patterns.
