Empire ormolu clock

An ormolu clock finely chiseled, surmounted by an allegory of Love. Cupid standing behind a young female figure in drapery writing «On t'aime et on te fuit». The mechanism between four columns is richly decorated with laurel, an ewer and a flaming tripod. The rectangular base is ornate with a frieze representing a putto playing with three musicians.
