Oil on canvas depicting a naked woman sitting on her bed. The painting is signed on the bottom right Landré Louise, 1918. The frame is made of gilt wood.
Louise Amelie Landre born in 1852 in Paris, she began her training in the workshop of Chaplin, then Barias and finally Hubert. She began her career at the Salon of 1876. She was named, in 1885, Associate of French artists and continued to exhibit portraits and landscapes.
