An ormolu Empire clock

A gilt and chiseled bronze clock representing the astronomy. Two characters are surrounding the mechanism decorated with vegetal patterns and surmounted by a globe: the woman is holding a parchment in her right hand and a compass in her left one, the man is holding an astronomy book. The whole is resting on a rectangular base decorated with two putti, a woman's bust and flower garlands. Round shaped feet.
