A French porcelain-mounted casket

A French porcelain-mounted ormolu casket by Alphonse Giroux, Paris, mid-19h century. The hinged lid surmounted by a reclining lady is engraved overall with scrolling foliate designs, decorated with turquoise porcelain and enameled flowers. It is inscribed to the interior'Alph Giroux et Cie Paris'.
