This is the reproduction of Marie Antoinette bust.

In bust, in medallion, in the form of allegories, with its husband or his children, Marie-Antoinette was the subject of many specimens whose registers make state but which disappeared with the Revolution.

It acts this time of a idealized portrait of the queen and not the evocation of sovereign at the top of its power as the model of Boizot evoked it. The head slightly turned towards the line, the covered shoulders of a fabric tied with naturalness, it is capped with a diadem decorated with a flower of lily and retained by a row of pearls. Any changing here of the royalist iconography what could imply that the model, which one is unaware of the exact date of creation, probably dates from the Restoration.
