Title: Mythologie Blonde
Medium: Ceramic plate in Red Teracotta, 1958, signed by the artist in pencil and dated ‘58. The colours employed in oxide are green, black and blue. In enamel the colours are Yellow, red, black and green. Verso is enscibbed: “Edition originale de Jean Cocteau - Atelier Madelaine-Jolly”

Condition: In very good condition
Authentication: Sold with this work is a photo-certificate of authenticity signed by the publishers and dated at Vellefranche 15th May 1958.
Reference: Jean Cocteau, ceramiques” by Annie Guedras Number 177.
The illustration in the book besides being in black and white is also very poor. This works is full of life and colour and very typical of Cocteau’s joyeous oeuvre. The illustration, alas, does not present this message.
