Title: Faune-Triangle à la flute
Medium: Ceramic plate in Red Teracotta, 1958, signed by the artist in pencil and dated ‘58. The colours employed in oxide are black and blue. In enamel the colours are White, Yellow, red, black and green. Verso is enscibbed: “Edition originale de Jean Cocteau - Atelier Madelaine-Jolly”

The illustration in the book besides being in black and white is also very poor. This works is full of life and colour and very typical of Cocteau’s joyeous oeuvre.
