Here are the printed on canvas crowning emblem of the German king, who in the year 1870/71 was crowned German Emperor in Versailles. Therefore, the Karl crown «as a sign of the new imperial dignity of the imperial eagle. The crest is raised on a stretcher from the Salem Castle on Lake Constance / Margrave of Baden, and probably was a window decoration. Mass height 180 cm X 108 cm width. Age had some tears in the arms of the lower area, which were repaired.
