Bronze Sculpture: truancy

On the way to school, the student stops, sits down and thinks. Precious moment when the soul finds the spirit, where there is simply just for him…
This bronze sculpture identifies the moment of thinking in children believed to be still in action. His backpack and cap identify the action and vivacity of youth, but the position of the head, legs and arms suggest stopping for a moment of reverie, thought and reflection. His willingness to give itself to itself a really intimate moment is supported by the fact that he removed his shoes and be barefoot.
We want to immerse ourselves in his thoughts and know what he thinks and what his state of mind. Is it sad, or just dreaming? .
