A carved, highly stylised depiction of an ancient Gaelic harp (Clàrsach)adorned with the beautiful intricate knot work associated with insular Celtic art. Carved in Scotland by a native craftsman, this piece was realised upon the discovery of a beautiful and extremely rare piece of air-dried walnut retrieved from a wind-felled tree near Auchengray in south Lanarkshire. It bears an inscription in Scottish Gaelic of a simple folk-prayer or'Grace': «May the roof above us never fall in, and may we below never fall out» - Pious wisdom to accompany the instrument of Angels.

This piece is completely unique and can never be replicated.
