Palimpsest: manuscript on parchment of ancient writers that the copyists of the Middle Ages have cleared and covered with a second writing, in which modern art has managed to reappear in some of the first characters.
The palimpsest is literally a manuscript regratté, from the Greek palin again and psaein scratch.
By definition, the palimpsest is not immediate and reading is not instantaneous: it is at a crossroads, between nature and culture, between dream and creation, between imagination and geometry, between reality and idealism.
