Fine Imperial Famille Rose Pair Of Cups
Qing Dynasty, Daoguang Mark & Period 1821-1850 AD.
Height: 7cm, Diameter: 8cm.

Chinese Imperial porcelain. Fine famille rose pair of teabowls. Daoguang mark and of the period. Thinly and finely potted, the exterior decorated with peaches and butterflies, the four character mark on this bowls read «shendetangzhi» (produced by the studio of Shende). The shendetang mark includes the name of the palace of the Emperor Daoguang in the Yuanming Yuan. Wares with this mark were especially decorated with exquisite enamel painting using motifs ranging from landscapes to classical subjects. Technical mastery in the brushwork and use of colors is evident in this pair of bowls. Please note photo colour might deviate slightly in comparison to the original artefact.
