I created these Mandalas seeking connections with primitive universal forms found throughout the universe as seen through the eyes of science that display pure natural beauty. The kind of natural beauty as seen in the universe through the senses.
I began as a photographer specializing in 360 degree panorama photos. I have since included stacked images and other digital art. I started doing heptagon mandalas about a decade ago and have found great solace in their creation and observation. The heptagon is a seven sided polygon. The number seven is found throughout human history in many forms of expression many aligned with sacred and rare events. Mandalas have a long history of helping people to discover and develop their spirituality. Heptagons are rare in nature and considered unique and I feel that this geometry adds to a mandalas spiritual qualities. The hours of pleasure obtained in the creation of my art leads me to sharing my work with others. |
