Painter of Russian origin, born in Belgium, it was in 1997 that I approach oil painting on canvas that I use as a material «gross».
Autodidact I started, I followed them over the course of technical development at La Maison des Arts in Brussels in order to refine my work. I work a lot, hoping that the last picture is always more expressive and freer than before. I am not trying to prove or impose anything, but simply to convey an emotion, always driven by the intense need to find the silence before the white canvas and tame the space. Painting is for me an opportunity to «talk» through the fusion of colors and shapes. I do not fear nor bold contrasts. I give myself entirely to the present moment and the picture is staged. I improvise the scenario that follows, also by exposure to «theme». Sometimes I collaborate with artists of other disciplines such as music or theater. This source of mutual inspiration is particularly revealing and rewarding for everyone. Currently, I work in acrylic and mixed media, and I have the chance to exhibit my work regularly.
